Dear parents,

This year our annual Hispanic Week celebrations will be taking place on Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th July with exciting events and activities happening on both days.

Similarly to last year’s Hispanic Day celebrations, we would like to invite any Spanish speaking parents to read a children’s story in Spanish to their child’s class. This can be an in-person visit on a day that suits you between Monday 24th June and Friday 12th July. If an in-person visit is not possible you could send us a pre-recorded video of you reading the story that can be shown to classes during Hispanic Week. The Spanish story is your choice, we just ask that it is age appropriate and read aloud in Spanish.

If you would like to take part, please reply to rquigley@williampatten.hackney.sch.uk with your name, your child’s name and class by Friday 21st June. We will then be in touch to then make the arrangements.
